The Henry County Clerks Office is where you go to license your vehicles, boats, and trailers. We issue your marriage licenses and notary bonds. This office maintains the records of deeds, mortgages, wills, etc. We record title lien statements and delinquent taxes. The Henry County Clerks Office is also responsible for handling the County and City elections.

Shanda E. Archer
Shanda started as a deputy clerk in April 1997. She ran for clerk and was elected November 2014. She is an outstanding citizen of this county and life time resident. She and her husband, Frank, reside in Franklinton. Not only does she fufill the requirments as clerk, but also works the front line. We pride ourselves with being available to help not just everyone who calls, but everyone who walks in our door.
Louise has been with the office since August 1991. Louise handles the recording, scanning and filing for our auto lien department. This includes titles for autos, mobile homes, and trailers. She is also responsible for our weekly car report, repossessions, inventory, and the processing of mail.
Beth began working for the clerk’s office in October 1998. Beth receives all recordings and real estate records. She is responsible for receiving, recording and scanning deeds, mortgages, liens, p.o.a’s, wills, etc. She also certifies document copies and collects delinquent property taxes. Beth is a well of knowledge when it comes to land records.
With the clerk’s office since September 1998, Casey works on the front line. She processes renewals and transfers of motor vehicles, boats and trailers. Other front line duties include notarizing documents, issuing marriage licenses and notary bonds. She also is responsible for a majority of our book keeping and car reports. She is a blessing to have on board.
Jennifer started working in the clerks office in April 2008. She works on the front line and also handles our voter registrations. Election department duties include the imputing of daily voter registration card information, verifying daily printouts, and then the scanning of the record. She also helps with candidate petition filings and prepares absentee ballot applications for mailing. She and her husband live in Pleasureville.
Halie lives in Eminence and started part time at the clerk's office Dec 2010. She works on the front line where we process renewals and transfers of motor vehicles, boats and trailers. Other front line duties include notarizing documents, issuing marriage licenses and notary bonds.
The newest member of our crew is joining us from Turners Station. Lashann is working on the front line helping with all the duties of vehicle, boat and trailer renewals and transfers. We gladly welcome her to our team.
